We invite you to watch an interview with the producer of the animated film Quo Vadis, Anira Wojan, who shares behind-the-scenes insights into the film adaptation of Quo Vadis based on the novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz.
This is the first animated version of this iconic novel, presenting a significant artistic and logistical challenge. The film’s producer, Anira Wojan, reveals the backstage of this unique production and invites viewers to discover Rome in a completely new way.
As Anira Wojan emphasizes, Quo Vadis is an international project. The film was created in collaboration with creators from Poland, India, the United Kingdom, France, and Lithuania, giving it a unique character.
One of the key aspects of the production was the decision to use animation inspired by video games.
This is not a typical family animation but a film that combines historical accuracy with a modern visual style, which may interest adults and younger audiences.
Outstanding actors and artists were invited to work on the film. In the Polish-language version, we will hear the voices of stars such as Małgorzata Kożuchowska, Michał Milowicz, Michał Koterski, and Jarosław Boberek. Equally impressive is the musical aspect—Polish and international artists created the soundtrack.
The film preserves the key themes of Henryk Sienkiewicz’s novel: the love story of Vinicius and Lygia, the political intrigues at Nero’s court, and the dramatic events related to the persecution of Christians. – It is a story about courage, faith, and the search for truth, which remains relevant today.
