The gala will be held under the honorary patronage of Henryk Sienkiewicz, on the 120th anniversary of the author’s Nobel Prize in Literature. As a tribute to his work, a fragment of the animated film Quo Vadis will be presented, and the producer will share a few words with the audience.

The event is also under the honorary patronage of the World Association of Polish Media Abroad, represented by its president Teresa Sygnarek, who actively supports international initiatives promoting culture and the engagement of the Polish diaspora worldwide.

This year’s edition carries a compelling message. During the gala, a charity lottery will be held, with 100% of the proceeds going to support the School of Polish Veteran Peacekeepers of the UNTAC Mission in Cambodia, located in Chhourtealbak village.

Piotr Oller, a veteran of the United Nations mission in Cambodia, created this extraordinary initiative. Years later, he returned to the country not with a military mission but with love and vision. Thanks to his dedication, a school was built—a centre of hope, education, and intercultural cooperation.

The funds raised through the lottery will cover the school's urgent needs: educational materials, infrastructure improvements, and programme development.

And just one week after the gala – on 17 October 2025 – Piotr Oller will personally travel to Cambodia to deliver the collected donations and share the gratitude of everyone who participated.

What’s more, a trip to Cambodia for up to 20 guests is also planned, allowing participants to witness the impact of their support and experience how far solidarity can reach.
