The Polish community in the UK had the unique opportunity to witness an extraordinary event – a powerful and deeply moving speech by Ilona Adamska, the founder of the “Nie Hejtuję – Motywuję” Campaign. The initiative not only reached the British Isles, but – more importantly – touched the hearts of its participants, becoming one of the most significant social voices of the year.
This speech was more than just a lecture. It was a testimony—a personal, sometimes painful, yet profoundly authentic story of a woman who endured school ostracism, professional hate, and public humiliation and transformed those wounds into strength. Not to seek revenge, but to build, educate, heal, and inspire.
Ilona Adamska revealed not only the mechanisms of hate but, most importantly, its roots—frustration, jealousy, and a lack of self-acceptance. In her narrative, there is no room for hatred toward the hater—on the contrary, there is an attempt to understand. “Hate says nothing about you. It says everything about the hater.” This one quote became the refrain of the entire speech and the essence of a message that deeply moved the audience.

The data presented during the lecture, based on original research conducted in Poland, is alarming. 70% of women experience hate based on their appearance. 85% of respondents believe that hate can ruin a company’s reputation. And yet, hate continues. It still wounds. It still strips people of their self-worth, and sometimes – their lives.
The “Nie Hejtuję – Motywuję” Campaign, now officially part of the British social landscape, has gained strong allies – institutions, media, and above all, people. Ilona Adamska’s speech proved that it is possible to speak about complex matters with grace, without pathos, but with genuine care and courage.
Her words about school traumas, toxic relationships, and the fight to reclaim herself served as both a warning and a guiding light for those still struggling. The author and activist did not stop at sharing her story – she turned it into tangible actions: school workshops, cooperation with the police, billboards, calendars, podcasts, books, and now international events like this one, already named by many as the social event of the year 2025 in the UK.

The conclusion of her speech echoed the maturity of this mission: it called for the creation of a world where a hug, a conversation, and the act of truly noticing another person hold more power than a thousand words of hate. As Adamska reminds us, words have power. And they can be the beginning of the end—or the beginning of healing.
The Stop Hate! Motivate! campaign, in collaboration with Nie Hejtuję —Motywuję, has come to the UK not just with a message but with a mission, and it has just begun to fulfil it.
