Although the weather was far from pleasant that day, the hall of the event “Love Yourself with the Power of Plants” was filled with good energy. Another edition of the meeting, organised by the owner of Grushka Studio, brought together exhibitors, speakers, and guests united by one thing: a fascination with natural methods of caring for health, balance, and conscious living.
At the very beginning of the meeting, Grażyna emphasised that despite the capricious weather, everything that truly matters had turned out perfectly: the people, the exhibitors, the sponsors, the conversations and the new experiences. “It is YOU who drives this event,” she said to the participants. And indeed, it was difficult to walk through the hall without meeting people ready to exchange business cards, sample health-supporting products, or engage in spontaneous conversations about natural therapies.
The main theme of the edition was the “power of plants”, understood not only in the context of functional nutrition but also in natural medicine from different parts of the world. Participants could try young barley and chlorella, learn more about plants used in South America, and take part in a cacao ceremony that turned out to be an unexpected cultural lesson.
New knowledge, surprise and genuine laughter worked as a tool of integration, because “Love Yourself” is always more than lectures; it is a space for meetings and networking, which is one of the unwritten pillars of the event. Not forced networking, but the natural kind, based on passion and willingness to exchange. As the organiser emphasised: “At ‘Love Yourself’ we attract people with passion.” And it was precisely they who set the tone for the rest of the meeting, during which each exhibitor had the chance to speak about themselves and their work.
Each presentation was short, concise, and ended with an invitation to continue the conversation at the stand. It was no surprise that once the stage part was over, the room filled with lively exchanges of questions, samples, contacts and inspiration.
Although the meeting had just come to an end, the announcement of the next event was already made: a Christmas edition of “Love Yourself”. This time, with the presence of “Santa Claus”, who, as Grażyna joked, “will be giving presents to adults, but only to well-behaved adults.”
There will be a raffle, fun, competitions, a separate zone for children, and a dress code with a mandatory touch of Christmas spirit. The venue remains the same: the Polish Catholic Centre in Oldham.
At “Love Yourself”, it is not only about selling products or listening to expert lectures. It is a space for exchanging experiences, building relationships and discovering how much good can be done through nature, awareness and mutual support. That is why participants continue to come back.
