Stars Night Awards 2025 – A Gala That United Global Presence and Social Mission

11 October 2025 | Delta Hotels by Marriott Liverpool City Centre

On Saturday evening, 11 October 2025, Liverpool became the venue for one of the most representative Polish cultural events in the United Kingdom. The Stars Night Awards 2025 Gala, organised by Golden Rule Ltd as part of the Wyspa TV project, brought together guests representing the worlds of culture, entrepreneurship, science, diplomacy and social activity. The event once again demonstrated that the Polish community in the UK not only maintains its own identity but also actively contributes to the public life of the country in which it resides.

The evening's setting highlighted its ceremonial character, featuring a red carpet, three limousines, live musical arrangements, an elegant ballroom, and a three-course dinner accompanying the official part of the gala. The stage decoration, featuring symbols of Poland and the United Kingdom alongside the flags of other countries represented by the guests, clearly indicated that this was a plebiscite of a scale that reached far beyond the local level.

Among the guests were representatives of city authorities, diplomacy, and the legal and artistic communities:

We were honoured by the presence of the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Barbara Murray, the well-known and much-loved film actor Jack Jagódka, as well as the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Manchester, Radosław Gromski, and barrister Marzena Konarzewska, Chair of the Polish Ball in London.

To emphasise the importance of their presence, the organisers awarded two honorary statuettes, received by Lord Mayor Barbara Murray and actor Jack Jagódka. It was a gesture of recognition for their symbolic support of the event’s mission and for the intercultural dialogue represented by our Stars Night Awards plebiscite.

LAUREATES WHO RECEIVED THE SYMBOL OF THE STAR 2025

1. Martyna Łuszczek | Global Impact Star | Poland

The highest-rated nomination in this year’s edition. A young scientist and inventor of the Aquacollector, a device for cleaning water reservoirs of microplastics, which is already gaining international recognition in the ecological and scientific sectors. Listed among the 50 best students in the world, representing a new generation of Polish scientific thought.

SPECIAL JURY DISTINCTION

In response to the strong mobilisation of the public, who fought for the plebiscite result until the very last minutes of voting, the jury awarded an additional Audience Star 2nd place to Katarzyna Łakomska-Haracz, emphasising the decision with the symbolic remark:

“Those who have courage - never lose.”

During the gala, a charity raffle was held, with all proceeds allocated to the School of Polish Peacekeeping Veterans of the UNTAC Mission in Cambodia, founded by Piotr Oller. This is yet another year in which the gala combines the celebration of achievements with real educational support for communities outside the United Kingdom.

The Stars Night Awards 2025 once again demonstrated that a prestigious event can serve as a platform for international dialogue, a venue for building a positive image of the Polish community, and a space for social responsibility. Combined with the presence of representatives of Liverpool authorities, Polish diplomacy, and the academic, artistic and business environments, the gala confirmed that the Wyspa TV project from the United Kingdom fulfils not only a media function, but also a cultural and integrative one.

It was an evening that redefined what it means to celebrate success today – with elegance, purpose, and a sense of responsibility that extends beyond one’s own environment.
