1. Organisational Independence
Wyspa TV is an independent, privately operated media initiative functioning in full accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. This initiative is not formally affiliated with any public authority, governmental institution, or external organisation, national or international. All activities undertaken within our projects, including nominations and awards, are carried out autonomously, in line with our statute, internal regulations, and social mission.
2. Nomination Criteria and Process
Nominations within Wyspa TV projects are based on internal evaluation criteria, including social and communicative contribution, impact on local communities, and initiatives of inspirational or integrative value. Decisions are made by an independent selection committee based on public nominations and documentation provided by candidates.
3. Respect for Legal Standards and Democratic Values
Wyspa TV operates with full respect for the values enshrined in the British legal system, including:
The presumption of innocence,
freedom of expression and association,
prohibition of discrimination,
protection of personal rights and reputation.
Accordingly, we do not undertake exclusionary or punitive actions against any nominee unless a formal judgment has been issued by a competent court of the United Kingdom or there are clear, public findings by the relevant legal authorities.
4. Organisational Clause
The regulations of Wyspa TV events include the following provision:
"The organiser reserves the right to remove a nomination at any time without stating a reason, if deemed in the best interest of the competition."
This clause exists solely to safeguard our initiatives' integrity and ethical character and is not intended to stigmatise or assess nominees based on unverified or subjective information.
5. Position on Disputed Matters
Wyspa TV does not comment on matters that judicial authorities have not lawfully resolved. In the event of public concern, any decisions will be made with the highest standards of diligence, in a spirit of transparency, fairness, and respect for all parties involved.
We firmly believe that creative freedom and social responsibility coexist, and that independent media should serve as a space where every story may be heard—free from prejudice, pressure, or premature judgment.
Respectfully,
The Wyspa TV Team
