Some people build businesses, and some rebuild… themselves.

Tomasz Putynkowski did both. His story reads like a film script from the “hard to believe” category. Eight years ago, Tomasz was in a serious car accident. He was hospitalised and given a diagnosis that, for many, would mark the end of the road: no ability to walk, chronic pain… and every reason to give up. But giving up was never part of his vocabulary.

While others were relearning how to walk, Tomasz was learning how to rebuild a life to survive and create value. No complaints. No self-pity. Just a purpose. That purpose led to a dream, and that dream became JMT Accountancy Limited Bookkeeping and Payroll Services.

A firm that doesn’t look like a cold corporate office, but a space where clients are seen as people, not just lines on a spreadsheet.

Today, over 110 clients trust him with their numbers, growth, challenges, and dreams.

His first business had to close due to COVID and Brexit. For many, it would have been a breaking point. For Tomasz, it's just another bend in the road to navigate.

He was recently hospitalised with a minor brain bleed and a suspected serious illness, yet he returned to work with undiminished dedication.

And what did he do next?

He walked out of the hospital… and went back to work.

Because clients. Because projects. Because mission.

However, Tomasz's success is not measured by numbers alone.

His heart is just as active as his mind.

He serves on the Advisory Council of the Chamber of Commerce, shaping policies that support local businesses.

He supports people with disabilities by donating his time, knowledge, and resources to organisations like CIC (assisted living) and the Adult Autistic Society – because he knows what it’s like to live “on the other side.”

He’s also a mentor in the Be-Inspired program at Staffordshire University, guiding young entrepreneurs with real experience and an honest heart – because he knows that true success starts where fear ends.

Tomasz Putynkowski is not just a businessman. He symbolises resilience, a real-life example of someone who fell and rose higher than most of us ever will.
