For over seven years, Ottilia has been the driving force behind Gòbèfest – a unique Eastern European cultural festival that gathers crowds annually in the heart of Manchester. Her vision and determination have turned the event into a vibrant celebration of multiculturalism and a significant platform for integration and intercultural dialogue.
Her experience also includes organising community consultations, health and wellbeing days, expert panel discussions, workshops, and educational events—all aimed at uniting residents around shared values and caring for local issues. As a producer and event manager, Ottilia brings professionalism and heart into every project she helps create.
A vital part of her mission is supporting local musical talent, especially young artists, for whom she creates spaces for growth, collaboration with labels and music organisations, and visibility on the creative scene.
Her international training experience, gained in collaboration with partners across Europe and beyond, also makes her a versatile trainer able to inspire and engage participants in diverse initiatives.
Ottilia Ördög is a leader whose strength lies in empathy, vision, and consistency. Her work shows that culture and the arts can be powerful tools for social change. Her nomination for the Leader Star Award is a well-deserved recognition and a reminder of the immense value of grassroots work, with people and for people.
