Program and Registration

The History and Idea of the Congress

The idea of meetings among Polish engineers dates back to partition. The first Congress of Polish Technicians was held in Kraków in 1882.

After political transformations in Poland, efforts were resumed to integrate the Polish technical community. Since 1996, initiated by the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations (NOT), the "Poles Together" symposiums have been organized. Since 2010, the "World Congress of Polish Engineers" has been held.

As a result, Polish engineers who work and achieve success abroad have established collaboration with:

universities,
research institutes,
innovative enterprises in Poland.

Congress Theme – "Technology for Health and Safety"

The main theme of the Congress refers to two of the most significant challenges of modern times:

climate change,
civilizational threats, including:
- health,
- cybersecurity,
- food security,
- hydrology,
- military technology.

We aim to show society that technology and its creators can actively and effectively contribute to maintaining the state of our planet so that both humans and nature can continue to live and thrive.
