East Fest będzie pierwszym plenerowym, multi-artystycznym świętem polskiej i wschodnioeuropejskiej sztuki i kultury w centrum Luton.

Festiwal opiera się na osiągnięciach Polonii 2019 i będzie zabawnym i pouczającym wydarzeniem prezentującym elementy polskie, żydowskie, litewskie, ukraińskie, białoruskie i łemkowskie z nowym dodatkiem kultur bułgarskich, węgierskich i rumuńskich, które razem stworzyły współczesną kulturę Europy Wschodniej .

Umiejscawiając East Fest w centrum miasta, w pobliżu sklepów i innych obiektów, przyciągniemy publiczność ze wszystkich społeczności i dodamy to wydarzenie kulturalne w Europie Wschodniej do rosnącej gamy wydarzeń organizowanych przez społeczność w Luton.

Zbierzemy program głośnych międzynarodowych artystów; wysokiej jakości artyści z Wielkiej Brytanii, którzy
oferują wgląd w różnorodność kultury Europy Wschodniej oraz lokalnych artystów i grup społecznych
którzy ucieleśniają żywotność społeczności wschodnioeuropejskich w Luton. Celem Festiwalu jest:
zbliżyć do siebie wszystkie społeczności Luton i stworzyć więcej okazji do świętowania spójności w
miasto.

Przez cały dzień będziemy prezentować różne formy sztuki, w tym muzykę od zespołów rumuńskich i słowacko-polskich po bułgarskie zespoły taneczne folkowe i wschodnioeuropejskie.

Balkan Trinity

Balkan Trinity are a 4 piece band from Birmingham West Midlands who play traditional folk and pop music from their homeland of Bulgaria who have performed all over the UK at weddings, parties and birthdays and will be the first time they have played to a large crowd outside of their usual Bulgarian crowd.

Stefan Selection

Stefan selection is a Roma group from Bulgaria who plays eastern European folk law etno music and roma gospel songs and enjoys playing gypsy music and spanish gospel songs in churches all around the world. They have come all the way from Birmingham to perform for you today. This is Stefan selection.

The Young Bows

A violin group set up in April 2019. Current lineup includes Mrs Edyta Sawa and her students: Nicola, Amelia, Simona and Rose. Their repertoire consists of movie themes, pop songs, carols, italian songs and polish pieces (national dances, patriotic songs, Highlander music) composed or arranged by Edyta Sawa.
Performed during a few other festivals (eg Polonia Festival 2019, Polish Heritage Day (twice) in Bedford and Polish Independence Day in POSK London or Italian Festival in Bedford).
Two years ago they won the first place and the Roy Rimmer Cup at Bedfordshire Festival of Music, Speech & Drama 2020.

Fire Fall Romanian Rock Band

Fire Fall are a 4 piece Melodic Hard Rock band with Metal influences, The music has a running theme of autumn, titans/god's and dark things. Established in 2021 Fire Fall have gone from strength to strength playing Venues/Events such as Bedford Esquires, Daxtonbury Festival, The Met Lounge, Bedford River Festival and much more. Fire Fall have played a number of support shows with the likes of Fury, Dois Pardres, Standing Like Statues and many more aswell as doing their own headlining shows. Hitting you with Beautiful harmonies, heavy riffs and powerful vocals, the songs are catchy and have a generous amount of groove, blending Hard Rock/Metal and melody in a stunning and unique sound.

Bercy Biro

Bercy was born in Székelyland in Barót and grew up in Bölön. He studied in Sepsiszentgyörgy and then went to SAPIENTIA Transylvanian Hungarian University.
His ancient folk heritage, folk arts , music and dancing have always played a major role in His life and he has have won several folk music competitions as he was growing up. Since 2016 he has been living in Wales and after several years and decided to get back into education. In 2016 he joined the University of Chester Popular Music Performance degree. His musical taste is constantly expanding and always discovering new musical styles, he also gives more value to his own musical heritage. The way our ancestors expressed themselves musically is mesmerising. he hopes he can also create this feeling in those who listen to my music.

Melina band

Melina is a polish cover band consisting of five experienced musicians, having different personalities but share one common passion for live performance.
Melina playlist is based on the songs of well-known Polish artists from the 80’s up to contemporary hits, basically the best of polish music in pop, rock, blues, ska and reggae styles.

Halyna Balaban

Halyna Balaban is a pop singer, a participant of the "Halytsky Shlyager" festival, the bronze winner of the "Country of Hits" competition, season 7! Maryan Stislavskyi is a musician-singer, a participant in many charity concerts and events!!! In London, they created the duet "Harmony", which is 5 years old , they sing both there own and folk Ukrainian songs, glorifying and supporting Ukraine!!!
